Why is my HVAC system freezing up and what should I do?

Your system could be freezing up to lack of airflow. The blower wheel could have stopped. Go look at your filters to see if they are clean, if not change them. Another issue could be that your system is low in refrigerant. If the system is frozen, turn your system off from the thermostat and leave it there until a trained Affordable Air Repair technician can further diagnose.

(If you are a residential club member and have filters on site we will change them out for you while we’re there during our maintenance checks!)
